What is a Cabin Lift?
A cabin lift can be described as a hybrid solution between a vertical platform lift and a conventional passenger lift. Instead of travelling on an open platform inside a lift shaft, you travel in a fully enclosed cabin.
Cabin lifts do not travel as fast as conventional passenger lifts, but they offer you other great advantages, such as short delivery time, fast installation and space-efficiency.

Machine Room Less Lift
The screw-driven machinery is compact enough to fit inside the lift shaft, there is no need for a separate machine room.
Lift Pit of Only 10 cm
A lift pit of 10 cm is all you need. It is also possible to install the lift directly on the floor and create a wheelchair accessible ramp for it.
Fits Under Any Ceiling
The shaft height of the Kalea C1 Futura is only 2500 mm on the top floor, which is low enough to fit under almost any ceiling height.
Energy-efficient Drive
To ensure that your lift is fully optimised for energy performance and comfort, the Kalea C1 Futura is equipped with our latest drive system as standard.

Cabin Interior
To offer you the highest level of comfort, the Kalea C1 Futura is operated with automatic drive from the landings and inside the cabin. Whether you go for classic push buttons, or touchscreen, does not matter. All controls of the lift are always with automatic, one-touch drive.

To blend in seamlessly with any interior, the Kalea C1 Futura is available in two designs: One design without shaft, intended for installation inside a masonry shaft, and another design delivered with a space-saving, ready-made shaft in glass or steel panels.

No Space is too Small for a Lift
You may not think you have enough space for a lift, but we think that you do! Because the Kalea C1 Futura has a very compact construction and is available with a space-saving, ready-made shaft in glass or steel panels, it takes up much less room than a conventional passenger lift.
Do you need to go smaller? For limited and narrow spaces, our platform lifts, offer you a great alternative. In fact, the smallest size of the Kalea Kosmos fits inside just 1m2.
EI60 Fire-rated Doors
For places where a high level of safety is praticularly important, EI60 fire-rated sliding doors are available as an option. To preserve the integrity of the fire-rated doors, they need to be combined with a masonry or concrete lift shaft with an equivalent or higher fire rating.
Accessibility Options
Are you looking for a compact and convenient lift solution that complies with the EN 81-71 accessibility standard? The Kalea C1 Futura can be configured and equipped to comply with selected parts of the EN 81-71 standard. Our accessibility options include a horizontal control panel with an ergonomic design, extra-large (50 x 50 mm) call buttons and wall-mounted mirrors that offer visual aid to wheelchair users. In addition, it is possible to fit the lift with horizontal control panels on either side of the cabin.
